Marcoat 125 and Marcoat 125N were specifically designed to solve the problems associated with the natural ingredients often used in dietary supplement dosage forms. Natural, aqueous products themselves, these two coating additives offer some very unique characteristics providing excellent compatibility and ease of use with common, water soluble film formers.By being preservative free, Marcoat 125N also offers the unique ability to make an all-natural claim while still providing superior moisture, taste and odor barrier properties typically associated with synthetic or modified materials such as ethylcellulose, polyvinyl alcohol and acrylic polymers. Marcoat 125 and Marcoat 125N can be used in clear or pigmented coating systems at increased solids levels and typical coating weight gains allowing for decreased process times and superior performance.
